After buying a brand new bike from overseas, I was very disappointed with the brakes. I took it to my LBS and was told to throw the brakes away and put some others on it. I took it to BMCR, who gave them a quick bleed and adjustment. They went from Formula Frigged to Formula Frigging Awesome. Best brakes I have ever used, and I have a new bike mechanic. I have ridden a few miles now since my first extensive bike service with BMCR. This was not a cheap bike service, however it was exactly what I was looking for. No band-aid fixes here. What is offered is an excellent ‘value for money’ complete bike service. I often ride early morning in the dark and my bike is now running silently, brakes are firm and inspire confidence, gear changes are smooth and almost silent, I feel every calorie of effort is transferred into the back wheel and as a middle-aged cyclist, I appreciate every % of improvement. Significant improvement on the bike I dropped off for service. I could not be happier. My riding experience has been greatly improved by the quality and care given to my mid-range road bike.Richard Wilson
