Our philosophy is different
Here's a dirty secret from the bicycle industry: most bikes you see have been poorly put together. They're usually just pulled out of the box and slapped into position.
Our philosophy is different.
We start with the frame, and make sure it's finished correctly. (Read more about our processes here and here.)
Then we use the highest-possible-quality greases and custom assembly pastes to put your bike together properly.
Your bike will be working beautifully from the moment it rolls out of our workshop, rather than making weird clicks or creaks or having to come back to fix niggling issues.
The upshot: you have more time to spend enjoying your new bike!
Our philosophy also applies to the bikes we sell; we spend 3-4 hours assembling each one (instead of 15 minutes) so you know that they're perfectly tuned and ready to go.
It ran like a dream in the adventure race. I especially appreciated the work you did on the brakes; lots of people complained that theirs weren't working properly and mine were solid all day. There was an awesome downhill and some people had to walk their bikes due to a lack of braking...Ray Scheuboeck
