Bossi Grit SX | Mark G's Custom Build
A custom build fit for a world record holder
The brief
Mark G. is a dedicated cyclist. How dedicated? Well, he recently set an Everesting world record.
He needed a bike that could keep up with his high kilometre count, and also be comfortable enough to ride for hours and hours (and hours and hours).
The bike
As Mark was looking for on- and off-road capabilities in his new bike, we knew it had to be the versatile Bossi Grit.
Shimano GRX would give him the efficiency he needed, and by pairing it with a Garbaruk chain ring, 11-50 cassette, derailleur cage and jockey wheels, he'd have the wide gear spread he was looking for. (In his favourite colour, of course.)
We added a Redshift Shockstop suspension head stem to take the vibrations out of any bumpy roads ahead, and a Chris King headset by request.
The final touches: a custom-painted head tube and chain stay, plus some swish Ciclovation Metallic handlebar tape in Sunburst Orange.
