What makes Veloci special

Veloci are a small, passionate team based in Taipei who've built their company on the idea that steel frames—designed and manufactured with genuine attention to detail—are still among the best bikes in the world. (We agree!)

What sets Veloci apart from the many frame builders coming out of Taiwan is the level of thought that goes into every decision. Jerry, Veloci's head designer, is a genuine bike obsessive. Rather than following trends or chasing novelty (which, as mechanics, drives us nuts), Veloci takes proven, time-tested concepts and executes them exceptionally well. A Veloci frame feels balanced and well-though-out, and is something you’ll have for the long term.

It's the little things

Veloci frames are made from seamless, heat-treated, multi-butted chromoly steel tubing. This process means that the tube walls are thicker where strength matters and thinner where it doesn't, resulting in a frame that's both light and tough.

Every Veloci frame is also coated inside and out with an electro-deposit (ED) finish, which is a rustproofing treatment that gets into every corner of the frame, and also helps with paint durability. ED coating is far less common than it used to be, and has been quietly dropped from many well-known brands as a cost-cutting measure. Veloci, however, still does it on every frame.

The quality of a Veloci frame rivals that of custom frame builders, but at a more accessible pricepoint for a high-end custom build. These frames aren’t exotic one-offs (they’re off a production line, as 99% of frames are) but they’re manufactured to a much higher standard than anything we’ve had in the past.

Veloci have a considered approach to frame design, rather than being kooky for the sake of it. They also listen, adapt and firmly put their own stamp on their product line.
