Breezer Thunder Details

The Breezer Thunder was one of our all-time favourite bikes, and was an excellent adventure machine. Unfortunately Breezer bikes are no longer imported into Australia, and we haven't been able to source them for some time.

The Breezer Thunder mountain bike is a bike with a long legacy. This model has been in the Breezer bicycles line-up since the brand's early days in the 1970s, evolving along the way to become an all-round trail beast.

The Thunder is a fully rigid mountain bike, but it's more than that. Its multiple mounting points (including three on the seat stays) mean that you can set it up however you like -- add racks, add mud guards, add bottle cages, or keep it lean and just strap on some frame packs.

However you run it, the Breezer Thunder handles bikepacking trips, weekend trail-shredding, or all-day off-road adventures.

Need a bit more squish in the front? Throw on a set of suspension forks -- it'll take models up to 100mm.

Did you also notice that it also comes with a dropper post? Forget fiddling about with clamps -- you can switch your saddle height to suit your terrain at the touch of a button.
