Because it's nice to show off sometimes
We tried for several years to get a Bossi display bike on the floor, but every time we did, someone would buy it. (Technically, this is a nice problem to have.)
However, we did manage to have this one here long enough to do a photo shoot with it.
It's now headed to a new home, but you never know what may pop up on the floor down the track...
This Bossi Grit SX is built up with a mixture of a Sram Force HRD groupset plus Garbaruk components to offer a 1X setup with a huge 10-50 cassette on the rear.
It was also the ideal opportunity to spec a trio of Redshift products: the versatile Kitchen Sink handlebars, and the suspension Shockstop seat post and head stem. The Shockstop post and stem work incredibly well to smooth out the bumps in the road and take pressure off your hands.
Pete also manufactured some custom headset spacers for lightness, and just because he could. (Hey, we take our fun where we can get it.)
Overall, this is a superb example of how the Bossi Grit can be configured. That's the lovely thing about a custom build -- you can have whatever you want!
Come in and have a chat to us about your own custom Bossi bicycle.
My wheel is excellent after your hub service. I had been to another bike shop close to me twice within days with the wheel cones and cassette coming loose after both services (very frustrating and disappointing not to mention waste of money and time) before I came to BMCR. Your service, both…Paul Albinger
