You've heard the expression 'built from the ground up', right? Well, the Grappler was built from the bars down.
Yup, Surly started with the handlebars -- Salsa Cowchippers, to be precise -- and designed the Grappler around them to create a dedicated drop-bar trail bike.
If you're expecting bags of tyre clearance, disc brakes, grippy tyres and multiple mounting points, you won't be disappointed. There are even mounts just above the drop-outs, plus a dropper post so you can quickly adjust your position to suit the terrain.
The Grappler loves gravel, but it really shines on singletrack and off-road touring. Stable, nimble and versatile, it'll take you off the beaten path and beyond.
