Who's up for Friday night gravel?

When we decided to take on Veloci as our steel custom build frame brand, we wanted to build a showroom bike that did two things: showcase what the Roadmance is capable of, and demonstrate that a high-quality custom build doesn't have to cost the earth. ($5899, in this particular case.)
We also wanted to use as much Veloci product as possible. (Hey, if we’re backing a brand, we back it properly!)
The Roadmance is a bikepacking and gravel riding frame at heart, though it also makes a pretty damned speccy commuter. With that in mind, we built it as something you could ride to work during the week and then head off to the Lavender Trail on a Friday afternoon. Who needs knock-off drinks when there’s gravel to ride?
Shimano’s GRX RX820 12-speed groupset is the benchmark gravel groupset for good reason. It's reliable, smooth and built for exactly the kind of go-down-any-path-you-feel-like riding that the Roadmance is designed for.
Now, you may have spotted that the wheelset has been built with Rollcii RC27DB hubs and GRA25EC rims. Rollcii is Veloci’s own component brand, so you could be darned sure we’d be using them for this build. Smack on a pair of Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres, and this hand-built wheelset is ready for multiple terrains and all the adventures.
Continuing the theme, check out the stylish Veloci Pitcher drop handlebars, and the Veloci Torch seatpost in a wet black finish. Ooh, yes.
One particular thing which makes this build stand out: there’s a lot of polished silver on there. In a world gone matte black, shiny silver components have become increasingly rare, so it was lovely to showcase a bunch of them here, including the Hope seatpost clamp. (The gold standard for bolt-up clamps, we will fight you on this.)
Come and marvel at this black and silver beast in-store... at least, before someone nabs it, which is what tends to happen with our showcase builds.
