The Ultremo DD is the road tyre of choice for both Pete and Lia. Why? Its superb performance! You can really feel the difference in grip when racing down the hills, even in the wet. Highly puncture-resistant and designed to go and go and go, its textured tread can tackle roads, fire roads and gravel. Its GreenGuard puncture protection includes recycled latex products, and the tyre itself also boasts a new, longer-lasting sidewall. You can also use it on e-bikes. If you must. It's got all the features of the standard Marathon tyre, but has an added 5mm puncture protection layer as opposed to the regular Marathon's 3mm. If you're touring in the middle of Mongolia or just really hate changing tubes, the Marathon Plus is as close to bulletproof as you can get.

Rocket Ron is another competition tyre. What's the difference between this one and the Racing Ralph? The tread!
