The brief

We always have Bossi framesets on display, but nothing beats seeing a complete custom build in the flesh. So we built one for the shop floor.

The bike

This Bossi Grit showcases more than just a beautiful frame; it's also our testbed for Shimano's latest wireless 12-speed GRX Di2. Sleek and efficient, the new GRX system is designed specifically for gravel riding, reflected in everything from the updated shifter hood shapes to the rear derailleur design.

We didn't have to look far for the perfect wheels: Bossi just released their carbon Nomad Gravel wheelset, hand-built at Bossi HQ with a new carbon layup, UD finish, Nomad hubs and Sapim CX Ray spokes. Paired with Vittoria Terreno gravel tyres in (because the Grit has clearance to handle 'em), the Nomads are an ideal match.

For the touchpoints, we picked one of our favourite gravel saddles: the Ergon Allroad Core Pro, ready to handle multiple terrains while keeping you comfortable.

The handlebar tape was a no-brainer: Ciclovation's classic Grind Touch, with its unique rubbery finish and unbelievable grip. (You never know what's round the corner on a gravel ride, so grip is your friend.)

With an elegant silver and black colour scheme, we couldn't resist one extra touch: a hand-detailed head tube logo with a glimmer finish.
