The B-17 is Brooks' flagship saddle, and our best seller. First launched in 1898, it's been the basis for many other Brooks saddles as well. Its shape suits just about everybody, and its classic style suits just about every bike. Like all Brooks saddles, it moulds to your body shape as you ride so it becomes custom-made just for your rear. Poifect!

Model: B-17 Imperial Saddle

If you've had issues with perineal pressure on other saddles but would love to delve into the world of Brooks, what about the B-17 Imperial? It's exactly the same shape as the classic B-17 but offers a cut-out in the middle for sensitive souls. It also has fancy laces so you can customise it to match your bike. So pretty. So useful. So comfortable.

Model: B-17 Special Saddle

Want something a bit fancier than the standard B-17? Then the B-17 Special is just for you. It's the same shape as the standard but boasts copper rails, hand-hammered copper rivets, and chamfered (e.g. cut-away) sides. B17 Special: for when silver rivets just aren't enough.

Model: Team Pro Saddle

Looking for a sportier Brooks option? Then check out the Team Pro. It's a classic design but more streamlined than models such as the B-17. It features hand-hammered copper rivets, copper rails, hand-cut sides, and 'Team Professional' embossed into the sides. Will it make you go faster? Er... maybe*!

Model: Maintenance Kit

If you look after it, your Brooks saddle can last a lifetime. (And beyond! Your grandkids will know exactly what shape your butt was.) Moving on from that slightly disturbing thought, the Brooks Maintenance Kit has everything you need to preserve your leather pride and joy: 

• a 25g tin of Proofide; 
• a tensioning spanner;
• a Brooks-branded soft cloth;
• a care leaflet; and 
• a nifty little box to keep it in.

Because leather needs to be looked after, Proofide is your Brooks saddle's best friend.

During the breaking-in period, you'll need to apply it a couple of times, and then only a few times a year after that to keep it nice-like. Easy!

Model: Spanner

Lost the spanner that came with your Brooks? Purchased your Brooks before they were even packaged with a spanner? Just want something small and hard to throw at someone? Well, you're in luck! The Brooks spanner works with all Brooks saddles except:

• the Swallow Titanium (which has its own specific spanner)
• the Swift Titanium (which can be tensioned with an allen key) and
• the B33, B135 and B190 (which can be tensioned with a large slotted screwdriver).

Model: Rain Cover

You know how we say you need to look after a Brooks saddle to ensure it will love you back for many, many years? Well, part of that involves not leaving it outside in the rain to fend for itself. If you've got no choice, you'll need one of these nifty saddle covers! The Brooks saddle covers fold up small enough to fit underneath the rails while you're riding (or in your saddle bag, should you have one) and then will keep your saddle nice and dry even in the wet. They're available in two sizes:

• medium: fits all road, MTB, trekking and touring saddles (e.g. B17, Team Pro), and
• large: fits all city, transport, and heavy duty saddles (e.g. B66, B33). Joy!

Got a double-railed Brooks saddle, such as a B18, B66, B72, B73, B135 or B190? Then you'll probably need a Brooks double rail clamp so you can actually attach it to your bike.
